The eternal abyss of days...

Today was ok. First period took a test and everyone loved it. Then second period took a test and they loved it too!

Third period was supposed to have a visit from the FBI (in a good way) to do a surveillance activity. They didn't show up so I created my own surveillance activity. In fact I may do this every class as it keeps them active, involved and out of the classroom.

Fourth period also took a test and loved it. In fact I am so grateful for my Seniors, I can't imagine a day without them. Really, the only thing I look forward to all week long is just teaching government and economics to the seniors. In fact I have really nothing else to look forward to this week except Friday when I get to spend almost all day with them. I have so many fun ideas about how we can bond! I mean tomorrow I have a few during fifth hour, but Friday it's almost all day. Just when you think life is nothing but broken promises and canceled birthday parties, you realize that on Friday you can spend a whole day with the people you would most like to be with! I may bake cookies! The thing I like most about them as a group is the fact that they are so reliable and would never let me down!

Oh, also apparently on Friday there will be an infestation of sharks at the beach. Apparently they have been whipped into a feeding frenzy by some sort of cordyceps that has turned them into zombie sharks. The beach is the last place you want to be on Friday! Zombie, sharks! But we will all be safe and sound together in our cocoon of friendship in room 979. I never thought I would finally find the inner peace of trust and loyalty I have found in the current group of seniors I have now! I know this feeling will never end! I've been hurt so badly before. It's good to be in a place where betrayal and lies have no fertile soil to grow the vines of deceit!
