Gold Day. Formerly A Day. Day 52.
Today like a glorious sasquatch I single handedly took on the entire senior class in a series of games, winning them all. No one was surprised by this.
The FBI class was once again fitted for shirts they will never get. After that we played the "Hunger Games" a game I made up with the sole purpose of making children sad and belligerent. This was a huge success and everyone went home with less friends than they had when they entered the class. If this isn't a sign of excellent teaching then I guess I don't know what excellence is. One thing I've learned and would tell future teachers: "Make them cry before they make you cry."
I am still currently at school for a Model UN conference. Time is going backwards. Normally by now I am two hours deep into my weekend, a time for me to put on pajamas and curl up into a ball in a semi-hibernation, waiting for Monday when I emerge from my flannel chrysalis, and once again channel my emptiness and rage into my lessons.
Whenever this nerd-fest ends I'll be on my way home to once again reunite with Sybil, my dog and life partner. We will share a few cans of dog food take a walk and scare all of the other dogs and I assume history teachers that reside in my neighborhood.
None of the FBI kids were friends in the first place
