Day 83

"And when he stumbled, they found they could not lift him. He had taken on so many of their burdens he could no longer stand, so they left him and walked into the future and they did not turn back." This will be somewhere in the middle of my book on teaching. Eventually, I will have it all put together.

Today I asked simple questions and even that was too much. "What is your favorite invention?" No answer. "Why is it always bald eagle and not just eagle?" No one could answer. This was during the presentation portion.

I enjoyed your poems on "The Bureaucracy" and when I say enjoyed, it means I didn't chew off my own ears to make the sound of them stop. There was a pretty good sonnet, and some obvious AI nonsense, but I survived. I also had the opportunity to point out that we do not have a "Secretary of Justice". That is false.

I also endured being lampooned in front of my students like a circus clown. See below.

Here I am portrayed in a PowerPoint. Looking on like guilty farceurs, are three students who have recently started failing in a spectacular fashion.
