Day 80

Today I was wrenched from the warm cocoon of vacation, set adrift on a sea of responsibility and wound up gasping on the shore, the red tide irritations of tests and field trips choking me into distraction. But it was nice to see you. Some of you.

Although it wasn't my Magnum Opus, the Suburban Holiday Miracle was met with only lukewarm enthusiasm. My own mother told me "it wasn't my favorite" but I suspect it's probably better than the tawdry novels she normally reads.

Today during AP study hall, the stray child once again appeared. I still don't know his name, but people are calling him AJ, probably a nickname, and as such forbidden.

This is my daughter's birthday, and for the first time I won't be able to spend it with her because she started classes today, and like an idiot she chose to be responsible and go to school. It's also Kim Jong Un's birthday, so maybe I'll celebrate that instead.

FBI class had their shirts delivered. I'm not sure if they read this or not, but I have them. I suggest wearing something else to school tomorrow because it won't be until 3rd period that I pass them out. It may be awkward if you don't plan accordingly.

During homeroom today my favorite Netflix reviewer made me consider some new Netflix shows. Here is a picture that I slightly altered so as not to give away her identity.

I also found this ID in my room. I altered it as well to keep the owner incognito. If you feel this may be yours please come see me.
