Day 39. Engineering.

The children shuffled into the classroom this morning and instantly wished devastation upon our community. "Mr. Petraitis, how many years do you think Cypress Bay will be closed for? Should we all just skip the rest of high school and go straight to work or college?" I'm not certain.

However I calmed the hysteria and let them know that no matter what happens we will continue to meet at the Panera. Since (as most people know) Panera was built by the Illuminati to feed them in case of the Apocalypse, we should be safe. Just use your Illuminati password to get in. If you don't remember it, just email them and ask for the code.

Today AP Government and Politics took a quiz on Presidential power, and everyone loved it. During the test (second hour I think?) I gave a box of packing peanuts and a small amount of bubble wrap to a table of students and they played with it for the rest of class, confirming my suspicions that the entire table is just cats dressed like people. Cat people maybe. (One kid got a piece of tape, because I didn't want her to feel left out.) This is what it looked like to me:

At the end of the day, I was instructed to cover my two Promethean Boards with large garbage bags, in order to protect them from the coming storm. I predict we return to Cypress Bay, after the flood waters recede, and there will be only two things left. Two Promethean Boards perched like towers three stories in the air, facing each other amidst a debris field, because I was diligent and covered my electronics with garbage bags.
