Blue Day. Formerly B Day. Day 70.

The dreams we break in the day come back to haunt us at night. The sleep that escapes us at night follows us into the day and we push ambition aside. Ambition is less important than kindness.

Today nothing spectacular happened. Nothing.

AP Gov took a quiz that I told them was just a regular assignment. It might be a quiz. I don't know.

AP Study Hall managed to smuggle a kid in from another class.

AICE Global Perspectives gave a preview of their presentations and they were all more or less adequate except for the following. Some kid tried to pass off pictures from Ethiopia as kids from France and then showed pictures of what was probably somewhere in South Asia, and said it was Australia. He again took pictures of kids from Ethiopia and insisted they were from Hialeah. After 30 years of teaching you think you have been disappointed in every way possible, only to find out there is a new way for someone to quietly smother your faith in children and the future they will shape.

U.S. History Honors are writing musicals about muckrakers of the progressive era. Hopefully I will get consent to record them so I can link them here. I'll probably just do it anyway.

As mentioned earlier, nothing happened today. However on the way home I witnessed the aftermath of a Christmas or Chanukah miracle. It doesn't really need an explanation. See below.
