Blue Day. Formerly B Day. Day 55.

“And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music.”

Friedrich Nietzsche

It is the small and awkward things that somehow have carved a niche in the ecosystems of this world that constantly amaze us. How many times have we seen small birds, featherless and clumsy, pink and vulnerable and have wondered "how does this ever become the majestic eagle, or the vain flamingo?" Nature is funny that way. Sometimes the most absurd jests nature puts in our path one day grow to be soaring raptors. How does this happen?

Perhaps we will never know.

Today because of my grace and natural abilities, I was able to beat all challengers in the Samba dance contest at the Brazil Table at International Fest. Although most of my opponents attempted to cheat by using actual dance moves and in the case of one challenger, violence, I still managed to out dance all of them. I am not vain in my success.

The most technically difficult part of our display was recreating the rainforest with real rain. I think everyone enjoyed that.
