Blue Day. Formerly B Day. Day 32.

Fifth period destroyed the small part of me that still had feelings. It was as if they saw the exposed nerves of my soul and spiritually cauterized them all.

I honestly wish I could write about what happened in sixth period today. At least about the conversation. Unfortunately certain recent laws have curtailed my right to free speech on such matters so I cannot comment on the fate of middle school 'pseudo' dating and the love that dare not speak it's name. Suffice to say, in the words of "Shouty the Sophomore": (paraphrasing) Whatever happened to peoples feelings for each other in middle school, mostly fade away by high school. What he actually said was as human beings we all return to "factory default" after going through some awkward phases. (For the most part.)

I have no memory of AICE Global Perspectives. I believe the hypnosis is working.

U.S. History Honors is about to lose the "Honors" from its name. Some students just could not fathom the necessity of railroads in the 1860's no matter how many times it was explained. I imagine they believed that the transcontinental railroad was like one of those tiny trains in the mall that you can pay a few dollars for and ride around in circles. Not so! The transcontinental railroad had great import to the U.S. I mentioned also that trains could be used to move shorter distances from the suburbs to the cities. In the exact words of at least one student "What do I know about suburbs? I live in Weston."

I spent the rest of my day looking for homes to buy out of state.
