A Day October 14th

U.S. History Honors did more or less what the B day did, they just did it backwards. So I guess you can go back and read the last B day post. We did play a few rousing games of Kahoot and I allowed one person per class to earn points for all involved. Basically I was silently betting on you and choosing a winner, essentially commodifying your intellect and turning you into the equivalent of brilliant racehorses that happen to know about Westward Expansion.

AICE Global Perspectives AS and A level: We worked on our journals and decided to get a few slides done. I firmly believe the AICE program is just a muted and veiled attempt from the UK to rebuild their fallen empire. The dynasty of minds all of them thinking British thoughts and the desire to rebuild the broken commonwealth is newly realized. It also makes me believe that since the class offers nothing but facilitation that British teachers have run out of things to say and so have settled into a pattern of asking students to teach themselves and then proclaiming loudly they are promoting independence. Quite frankly when have the British ever encouraged independence? Exactly.
