A Day August 30th

Daedalus. I. Am. Daedalus. I have crafted wings of wax for my daughter and turned her heart to the sun and now surely she will fall to the Earth. We drove to work together and I could only think to myself "What have I wrought in the heart of my child to introduce her to this new destruction?" And then we walked into the building together. One of us on one end of a rope and the other holding tight, neither one of knowing who is the one being supported.

U.S. History Honors: We worked on a discussion that is on Canvas, but it is scheduled to close tonight. Someone will ask if they can make it up. When they do another rose petal growing on my soul falls to the earth and is eaten by ants. We also have an assignment to analyze the Gettysburg Address and the States Reasons for the Secession. This is due on Friday. A day has their test on Thursday.

Tonight is open house. I will leave the lights off and hide under my desk. If your parents want to meet me they will have to find me first.
