B Day!

U.S.H.H. Today we finished our movie posters. Period six went for a walk. We re-discovered the Cypress Bay Monorail and looked at contemporary art. Then we saw a "sky shark" or some other term Juliana came up with.

Period seven sat around and pretended to work. Ugh.

AP Human. OK. Everyone is a little tense. We had a chance to see the MC section from 2016 and determine what we did right and what we did wrong. We need to spend more time on environmental issues. You can pick that up in chapter 14. We discussed redlining, blockbusting and white flight. Then we learned about the transition from small towns having specialized shopping districts, to departments stores, malls and finally big box stores. The future? Online shopping. Then we scored and FRQ in class.
